The Redmi 13 running MIUI offers a flexible interface that allows users to modify the layout, shortcuts, and icons displayed in the notification shade, control center, and status bar for a more personalized experience.
⮕ Step 1: Open the Settings Menu
• From the Home screen, tap the Settings icon.
• Alternatively, swipe down from the top of the screen and tap the gear icon in the upper-right corner.
⮕ Step 2: Access Notifications & Control Center
• Scroll down and tap Notifications & Control center.
• This section provides options for customizing both the Notification Shade and the Control Center.
⮕ Step 3: Switch Between MIUI and Android-Style Panels (Optional)
• Tap Control center style.
• Choose between:
– Old version (Android-style quick toggles)
– New version (MIUI-style split Notification and Control Center)
⮕ Step 4: Customize Control Center Shortcuts
• In the same section, tap Control center or Notification shade.
• Swipe down to open the Control center.
• Tap the Edit icon (usually a pencil) to add, remove, or rearrange tiles such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Flashlight, etc.
• Drag and drop icons as needed.
⮕ Step 5: Modify the Status Bar Settings
Return to the main Settings screen, then:
• Tap Notifications & Control center ⮕ Status bar.
Here you can configure the following:
• Show connection speed – Enable or disable real-time network speed display
• Show carrier when device is locked – Display carrier name on the lock screen
• Battery indicator – Choose between graphical, percentage, or top bar styles
• Notification icons – Choose whether to show notification icons on the status bar
⮕ Step 6: Test Your Customizations
• Swipe down from the top of the screen to check your updated Control Center and Status Bar.
