Here is how to do it:
General Method
• Switch on your SiriusXM radio.
• Tune in to SiriusXM Preview Channel (channel 1).
• Next, check for the radio ID on the documents that came with the receiver or by tuning the radio to channel 0; take note of the number.
• Using your phone or computer, go to www.siriusxm.com/activate-now
• Use the on-screen guide for activation (If prompted for your radio ID, input the number you took note of earlier).

Use the SiriusXM website or App.
• Create an account on www.siriusxm.com/
• If you already have an account, log into the account.
• Navigate to the XM radio display and tune the radio to channel 0; here, you’ll find the Radio’s ID.
• Next, go to www.siriusxm.com/activate-now and use the guide provided to activate your XM radio.
Kindly note that you can activate using this method from anywhere; however, ensure you have an internet connection, the radio is on and depending on your car model, the radio is tuned to channel 184 or 1.

Use your phone
Switch on your car’s radio and position the antenna skyward. For XM, tune to channel 1 (for Sirius, tune to channel 184). Your car should not be in the garage.
• Call 866‐635‐8634
• Wait for a prompt; once you hear it, share your Radio ID/SID/ESN.
• When you are ready to get your activation signal, say “YES.”
• You will be provided with instructions for your activation signal; listen carefully.
• If you need further clarification, say LISTENER CARE and an agent will be assigned to speak with you.
