One thing I really appreciate about the King of the Hill revival is how much Bobby has turned into Hank. He’s an absolute workaholic, who doesn't get any of the credit. Bobby owns 15% of his restaurant while being the head chef, but this comes with a reduced salary. It is pretty comparable to Hank’s assistant manager position at Strickland Propane. It’s almost like they are both doing it for the love of the game. They still have their differences. It’s not a one to one comparison obviously, but it just shows how alike Hank and Bobby are. The show has always been about the two trying to find common ground and relate to each other. So it’s cool to see they do have more common ground than we initially thought.
