How Avedon’s editing made his FLAT images POP!

I don't think the striking contrast in Avedon's In The American West pictures were there in the original flat-lit negatives. I go through what I think Avedon and his darkroom team did to transform the out-of-camera negative into the classic In The American West picture. You can use any photo-software to follow along, but I use Lightroom and Affinity here.
