House of the Dragon Season 2 ~ Lost in Adaptation

HotD season 2 ended rather.... abruptly. Some might even say anticlimactically, but theres actually a good reason for it. Did season two of the HBO show at least resemble the shockingly small amount of Fire and Blood by George RR Martin it adapted?
