About this video
The coins of Bangladesh are issued by the Bangladesh Bank, the central bank of the country. As of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, the following denominations of coins were in circulation in Bangladesh:
1 Poisha: This is the smallest denomination coin in Bangladesh. It is made of bronze and features the national emblem, the "Shapla" (water lily), on one side.
5 Poisha: Similar to the 1 Poisha coin, the 5 Poisha coin is made of bronze and features the national emblem on one side.
10 Poisha: The 10 Poisha coin is made of bronze and features the national emblem on one side. It also includes the value "10" in both Bangla and English.
25 Poisha: The 25 Poisha coin is made of bronze and features the national emblem on one side. It also includes the value "25" in both Bangla and English.
50 Poisha: The 50 Poisha coin is made of bronze and features the national emblem on one side. It also includes the value "50" in both Bangla and English.
1 Taka: The 1 Taka coin is made of nickel-brass and features the national emblem on one side. It also includes the value "1" in both Bangla and English.
Please note that the designs, materials, and denominations of coins may have been updated or changed since my last knowledge update in September 2021. It's advisable to refer to the official sources or the Bangladesh Bank for the most up-to-date information on coins in circulation."
