Himalaya's Light Kingdom OVA (1999) 🌄 - An Inspiring Adventure for All Ages

OVA version of Daisaku Ikeda's original reading material with the same title. Through the adventure of the main character boy Surya, this work appeals to the viewer what is true courage. This is a small village in Nepal overlooking the Himalayas. A letter arrived to the gentle boy Surya who lives there. What was written in the text was a heartbreaking cry for salvation from the princess, "Help me." Surya squeezes his courage and decides to rely on this letter to embark on an adventurous journey. With the cooperation of the boy Chand and Dr. Shinha, the Suryas in the capsule of light head for the princess. Toei Animation is in charge of the actual production of this work. Like the series of OVA series based on other Daisaku Ikeda works, the director was Tomoharu Katsumata, a famous director.
