Hidden Malware Discovered in PNG Image Using Steganography 🕵️‍♂️

Security researchers discovered a .NET PE malware file hidden inside a PNG image using steganography. The unusual 31744x1 pixel PNG contained the executable in its second RGBA channel, with every fourth byte representing malware data. The PNG showed zero virus detections while the extracted file triggered 49 security alerts.
