Scientists Create Dire Wolf Pups After 10,000 Years 🧬

Yesterday (April 7) Colossal Biosciences revealed that they had created three dire wolf pups, after over 10,000 years of extinction.

However, the announcement has been met with a significant amount of skepticism, questioning whether we can even call these creatures dire wolves.

So how did they make these wolf hybrids, and can we really call it “the world’s first de-extinction”?
