343 Industries is officially switching to Unreal Engine 5 and the developer is now called Halo Studios. Anyone who had doubts about the future of the Halo franchise can start their week with some good news. The developer has now officially confirmed the switch to the latest Unreal Engine 5, meaning that the in-house Slipspace Engine appears to be history for the time being. In addition, several Halo projects have been confirmed that are being developed at Halo Studios using the Unreal Engine.
