Check out this new exclusive gameplay preview from the upcoming Hail to the Rainbow, developed in Unity 6 by one solo developer! We played the first 45 minutes of the final game with RTX 5090 in a 4K monitor (no commentary). This indie single player first person story-driven adventure game blends elements of shooter and horror. The game will remind you of Atomic Heart due to both titles sharing a distinct post-apocalyptic or dystopian setting rooted in the former Soviet Union, coupled with first-person combat and sci-fi/cyberpunk elements. Furthermore, the game's harsh environment, focus on exploration, and inventory management draw parallels to the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series. Finally, while featuring shooter elements, its strong emphasis on a rich narrative, technical puzzles, and atmospheric dread also suggests a resemblance to visually impressive, story-driven titles like Cyberpunk 2077 (for tone) and narrative horror-adventure games like Amnesia or Outlast (for its focus on puzzles and atmosphere).
