Trump Supporters’ Farmers Fight Back: How Policies Are Threatening Their Livelihoods 🚜

Farmers across the country are speaking out against Trump’s policies that have decimated their farms–even though they all voted for him multiple times. Caleb Ragland, for example, is worried he’ll lose his family’s Kentucky soybean farm due to Trump’s tariffs. John Painter, an Iowa farmer, fears the crops on his Iowa farm will spoil since he can’t find help after his immigrant workers were deported. However, even though Trump’s policies are negatively impacting them, none of them seem to express any regret after voting for him three times. In fact, most rural voters are still generally more supportive of Trump than the rest of the country. In this video we’ll discuss their cognitive dissonance.
