Gihan El Shamashergy is a contemporary jewelry designer and metalsmith. Her primary sources of inspiration are nature and the human body. She uses art and design to explore aspects of herself and her surroundings. She has a varied background in many artistic fields including contemporary dance and acting. Gihan also teaches metalsmithing and jewelry making to underprivileged children and women across Egypt.
