About this video
Learn how to factor expressions of two variables by grouping. To factor an algebraic expression means to break it up into expressions that can be multiplied together to get the original expression. When a given expression can be grouped in such a way that the different groups have a common GCF, then the polynomial can be factored by grouping.
To factor a polynomial by grouping, we first group the polynomial into groups having common GCF, then we factor out the common GCF.
