U.S. Lawmakers Endorse Aukus Defense Pact Amid Debate Over Nuclear Submarines 🚢

The political debate over the Aukus partnership and Australia’s push for nuclear powered submarines is intensifying in Washington. Late last year two powerful U-S senators warned President Joe Biden supplying nuclear submarines from American shipyards could push the country's industrial base to breaking point. But now a group of nine members of the congress have publicly backed the defence partnership.
