"Greyhound" (2020) is a war film directed by Aaron Schneider and starring Tom Hanks, who also wrote the screenplay. The movie is based on the novel "The Good Shepherd" by C. S. Forester.

The story follows Commander Ernest Krause (Tom Hanks) of the U.S. Navy, who is on his first assignment commanding a multi-national escort destroyer group during World War II. The group is tasked with defending an Allied convoy from German U-boats in the treacherous "Black Pit" of the North Atlantic.
