GPG4Win Lesson 3: Import & Encrypt with Public Key 🔑

In Lesson 3 we use the computer as Jane. We first import the public that Tim exported in lesson 2. Then we verify the key, trust it, and proceed to use it to encrypt Jane's secret document so that only Tim can read it.

This tutorial is mostly the "how" and thus very light on theory. Please check out some public/private key crypto how-tos or videos for the "why". Stay tuned for the other lessons!
