Government to Establish Targets for Unpaid Superannuation Recovery in Upcoming Budget

The government will announce targets in the May budget for the tax office to chase down billions of dollars of unpaid superannuation owed to workers. A recent senate inquiry recommended that wage theft should be criminalised and the new offence should apply to all forms of remuneration including superannuation.
