Government Signals Commitment to Pass Lokpal Bill in This Parliament Session 🏛️

After discussions that lasted late into the night, a breakthough between the Government and Team Anna may finally be in sight. Sources have told NDTV that two key areas of difference remain - inclusion of lower bureaucracy, and one common bill that covers Lokpal at the centre and also in the states. Team Anna wants lower bureaucracy covered by the Lokpal Bill while the Government says it will come up with another arrangement. The government also wants states to have their own Lokpal Bills.
