Government pledges $2 billion for children with developmental delay and autism

Advocates and parents say more detail is needed on a proposal to divert children with developmental delay or autism from the national disability insurance scheme. The NDIS minister yesterday announced plans to establish a system outside the scheme to support the growing number of children needing assistance.
