In 2021, I took the Google UX Design Certificates and made a series of review videos on them over the years. Since then, I've landed a role at eBay and expanded my network in both the tech and design education spaces. I'm extremely grateful that Coursera and Google released such a great educational resource, which significantly boosted my career. However, I've observed a few gaps as the design field has evolved over the years and has become increasingly competitive. This is an honest video on my opinion of the Google UX Design Certificates. For those of you who are curious or are taking the certificates, keep going! However, please set realistic expectations and understand that this is just the first step in becoming a designer. The joy is in the journey.
