Google has publicly released its chatbot Bard, an experiment allowing collaboration with generative AI, in a bid to gain ground on Microsoft in the race on artificial intelligence technology. Consumers in the US and UK can join a waitlist for English-language access to Bard, which was previously open to approved testers only.
