African History Month Celebrated in T&T School ✨

African History Month is celebrated in T&T in November, but taking into consideration end of term examinations, one school based in south Trinidad hosted a week of events for its students this month.<br /><br />Each day there was a different theme and element of African culture being celebrated.<br /><br />On day-one last week, girls of Holy Faith Convent in Penal let their natural hair loose in a show of cultural pride, a video of which, has been viewed more than half a million times on social media.<br /><br />Our reporter Cindy Raghubar-Teekersingh spoke with a teacher at the school and tells us more.
