About this video
The film reunites the five core members of the gang—Gopal (Ajay Devgn), Madhav (Arshad Warsi), Laxman (Tusshar Kapoor), Lucky (Shreyas Talpade), and Laxman Sr. (Kunal Khemu)—who are now living in Goa. They are not blood brothers but a family of choice, all orphans who grew up together in a charitable orphanage run by a kind man they called Dadaji (Amitabh Bachchan in a special appearance).
The story begins when Dadaji passes away, and the group returns to their hometown for his funeral. They discover that he has left his sprawling, but dilapidated, ancestral mansion to them and their childhood friend, Anna (Tabu). Anna, who now runs the orphanage, has the unique ability to see and communicate with ghosts.
The Haunted Mansion: The group soon realizes the mansion is haunted by the spirit of a young woman named Disha (Parineeti Chopra). The ghost is not malevolent but is trapped, seeking justice for her mysterious death.
The Mystery: The gang's typical comedy of errors and constant bickering is now set against a supernatural mystery. They must work together to uncover the truth behind Disha's murder, which is connected to a greedy builder, Vasuli Reddy (Prakash Raj), and a corrupt politician.
The Comedic Chaos: True to the Golmaal style, the plot is a vehicle for relentless slapstick comedy, wordplay, running gags (like Laxman's silent, childlike expressions and Lucky's tall tales), and the chaotic dynamic between the brothers. A new character, Babloo (Johnny Lever), a paranoid and terrified chauffeur, adds to the comic mayhem.
The Climax: The film builds towards a dramatic and comedic climax where the gang, with help from Anna and the ghost, exposes the villains and brings justice for Disha, allowing her spirit to find peace.
