Godzilla's Height in Every Movie 📽️

Godzilla’s height through the years has been radically different. Here’s the breakdown.

The original Godzilla in 1954 was 50 meters. The second Godzilla, ranging from 1955 to 1975 was also 50 meters.

In 1984 in a rebooted series with only the original as canon, the second Godzilla began at 80 meters and stayed that way until 1991 where he grew to 100 meters, a height he remained at until his death.

In 1999 and 2000 in two non coorelated films, Godzilla was 55 meters. In 2001 (GMK) he was 60 meters and once again became 55 meters for the Mecha Godzilla duology.

Godzilla Final Wars Godzilla is a towering 100 meters. Shin Godzilla in 2016 was 118.5 meters. Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters he was 50 meters and in the sequels he was a gigantic 300 meters making this version the tallest Godzilla.

In the Monsterverse,he began at 108 meters, grew to 119.8 meters in 2019, and became 120 meters in 2021 which he remained in The new Empire.
