In Germany 🇩🇪, you can return bottles with deposit(Pfand) sign and get a small amount per bottle back. 1 plastic bottle: 0.25 € 1 glass beer bottle: 0.08 € 1 Joghurt/Juice/water mehrweg Glass bottles: 0.15 € Certain wine bottles: 0.02 € As per my test, for 1 whole bag of bottles, you will get around 5€ back. You can either get cash back from cash counter or get a discount on your purchase from that supermarket.
