—go to https://services.digital.go.jp/en/visit-japan-web/ to fill out the immigration form beforehand, you’ll be given a QR code to scan through
—purchase a 72 hr tokyo subway pass, it’s only $9.50 and you have unlimited uses for 3 days from the first time you tap the card
—download the suica card so you can load money into it, the yen is rising every day so you might as well do it earlier, this can be used for all public transit, convenience stores, vending machines, and more
—double pack your suitcase so you have an entire empty luggage to fill with purchases
