German Mosques Reconsider Preacher Training Amid Cultural Gaps 🕌

Islamic preachers working in German mosques are usually trained abroad. They often speak little German and are not familiar with the traditions and customs of the country, but they have an enormous influence on the members of their communities.To correct this imbalance, a further education course has been set up at Osnabrück University to train 30 imams in German culture and language. Later, other universities will start offering complete university courses in Islamic studies.
