The Detroit Pistons earned a 115-105 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers at home in their second meeting of the season. Detroit is now 1-1 against the Cavaliers in 2021-22. The two teams will meet again in Detroit on Feb. 24 and in Cleveland on Mar. 19.

• Cleveland opened the game with a 15-0 run through the 7:25 mark of the first frame. Detroit responded with a 12-2 run and narrowed the deficit to two (32-34) by the end of the first quarter.
• Trailing by 12 (68-80) with 4:54 left in the third quarter, Detroit went on a 9-0 run sparked by seven-straight points from Saddiq Bey to make it 77-80 with 2:31 remaining in the third.
• Detroit cut the Cavaliers advantage to three or less 15 times before taking its first lead of the game, 99-98, with 5:19 to go in the fourth.
• The Pistons went on a 13-0 run to make it 102-98 with 5:02 to play in the contest and led by as many as 11 (113-102) in the final minute of the game.
