The offer includes 2024-2025 Ford and Lincoln models, excluding specific high-end models. Ford's move comes amid the implementation of new 25% U.S. tariffs on imported vehicles and parts. Wedbush Securities analyst Dan Ives called the auto industry's response to the tariffs a "tariff torpedo" and predicted price hikes of up to $10,000 for typical vehicles. Ford saw a 5% rise in first-quarter sales, as consumers rushed to purchase vehicles ahead of expected price increases.
