About this video
Would have loved for this to just be about my love of 3d software, and even more hyper-specific facets of that. However, I was acquired by autodobe in 2022, and unfortunately they make me pay every time I use a computer. Or eat. Or sleep. Or interact with my friends and family. So, I did what I could with the time I could afford. :)
Thanks to Million for voicing 'B. Russell'!

Sorry for the bad audio in some places. I'm working on a better setup. Hope it isn't too distracting!

At 25:55 I said: "In Jobs's letter, he explained the policy updates that effectively banned flash applications in their store, or really, third-party apps that are closed connections, which Adobe filed a lawsuit against. Which was cheaper than software development, I guess." But after a discussion with someone who asked about the lawsuit and some further research, I don't think that's correct. Adobe didn't sue. At most, they might have threatened to sue, but all of that was reported from 'sources close to Adobe' ( https://www.fastcompany.com/1615613/adobe-rumored-be-preparing-lawsuit-against-apple ). Apple did loosen restrictions, but according to them that was because of pressure from developers ( https://web.archive.org/web/20100911113848/apple.com/pr/library/2010/09/09statement.html ). So, as it turns out, a lawsuit was also too expensive for Adobe.
Also, in the credits I incorrectly label 'Adam Watkins' as 'Alan Watkins.' I've corrected this in the Github credits, but since there's no way to correct the video it'll always remain there and as a deep shame in my heart. Sorry, Adam.
