About this video
We finally got to our last hay field for 1st cut.
New Holland performed well in the work I used it for (tedding and transporting hay). Of course, it has plenty of power for our attachments, easy pulling a full trailer of hay up a hill and stable on a slope (widened, with 540 65 R34 rear tires). I like that it is compact, very suitable for our environment. In my opinion, the tractor looks great, if I compare it to our John Deere, it is just a bit larger and therefore offers a little less visibility from the cabin. The cabin looks more modern, the control functions are nicely and logically arranged, I think the gearbox is better than the JD's, where more shifting between gear ranges is required, but I like the position of the gear levers and the gearshifting itself better on the JD. Otherwise, the gearshift is smooth, it does not jerk between Hi-Lo gears like the JD. On the road between 35 and 40 km/h it tends to jump a little just like our JD. At first I was bothered a bit by the fact that the NH's hydraulic arm height lever is somewhat in the same place as the JD's hand throttle lever, but that's just a matter of habit. Otherwise, no bad things to say about the machine, very nice tractor to work with, fun to drive, I got used to it very quickly.
Thanks for watching!

Farmer's POV (Point of View) is a channel where I share videos of different chores that are going on on our small family farm in Slovenia. We have 60 heads of cattle, mainly simmetal breed and we milk about 35 of them. We farm in a fairly hilly area so our equipment is relatively small. Currently we own 4 tractors: Fiat DT55-56, New Holland TN70DA, Deutz Fahr Agroplus 85 and John Deere 5085M. We work around 21,5 hectares of mainly grass fields and about 2,5 hectares for silage corn. We also have 7 hectares of forest.
