Fatwa Issued Against Priya Prakash Varrier's Viral Song from Oru Adaar Love

Priya Prakash varrier Film's viral song is in trouble. Hyderabad'Islamic seminary Jamia Nizamia issued a ‘fatwa’ asking film-maker Omar Lulu to remove the video clip of the song ‘Manikya Malaraya Poovi’ from his movie Oru Adaar Love. In the fatwa it is said, “The film-maker should immediately remove the geet (song) from the film. The government should prevent the screening of the film till the song is removed,” the reply states. The document was signed by chief mufti of Jamia Nizamia Mufti Mohammed Azeemuddin. Speaking to The Hindu, a Jamia Nizamia office bearer said,” The sign and stamp are indeed that of Mufti Azeemuddin.
