Fate of the Furious: Cast Shines at NYC World Premiere 🚗

Fast car chases, daring stunts and explosions return to the big screen in the eighth installment of the "Fast and Furious" racing film franchise. <br /> <br />The cast shut down a city block outside of New York's Radio City Music Hall on Saturday (April 08) for its world premiere. <br /> <br />"The Fate of the Furious" sees lead character Dominic Toretto, played by Vin Diesel, go rogue. Oscar winner, Charlize Theron joins the cast as the villainous character, Cipher and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson makes a return. <br /> <br />The film also features regulars Tyrese Gibson, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, and Michelle Rodriguez. <br /> <br />This is the first movie in the franchise since the death actor Paul Walker, Rodriguez said filming wasn't easy without him. <br /> <br />"That's part of the reason why we went dark with this one. Because you can't return to business as usually after such a tragedy. And so, yeah, you watch this one and you'll see that it's way darker than any of the other ones that we've ever done." <br /> <br />Jason Statham, who returns to the action-packed franchise, walked the carpet with his pregnant girlfriend, model and actress, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. <br /> <br />"Fate of the Furious" will be released in U.S. theaters on April 14.
