Thrilling Guangzhou Open Doubles Semifinal: Eala & Kichenok vs. Piter & Tjen 🎾

It was a tight semifinal battle at the Guangzhou Open as Alex Eala and Nadiia Kichenok gave their all against Katarzyna Piter and Janice Tjen.
Despite taking the opening set in a tiebreak, the duo couldn’t hold off the late surge from Piter and Tjen, who fought back to win 6(4)-7, 6-3, [10-5] in a thrilling finish.

Eala (World #207, 20 years old) teamed up with the experienced Kichenok (World #58, 33 years old, 11 career doubles titles), while Piter (World #55, 34 years old, 4 titles) and Tjen (World #159, 23 years old) showed great chemistry and clutch play under pressure.
