F1 is a 2025 American sports drama film directed by Joseph Kosinski who also directed films like Top Gun: Maverick.

Starring Brad Pitt as Sonny Hayes, this high-speed sports drama revs through the world of Formula One with heart-thumping action and emotional depth. Hayes returns to racing after a 30-year hiatus to rescue the underdog APXGP team — but will this comeback cost him more than he’s ready to pay?

Once a prodigious racer-for-hire, Sonny Hayes (Brad Pitt) gave up Formula One after a catastrophic crash in the '90s. Now, his former teammate Rubén Cervantes (Javier Bardem) needs help saving his failing F1 team. Hayes is tasked not only with winning races but guiding rookie sensation Joshua Pearce (Damson Idris) — even as his past demons threaten his redemption.

This movie was such an amazing ride from start to finish. The POV shots from inside the F1 cars really puts the audience right in the middle of the action. Joseph Kosinski knows how to keep the audience invested and this film was no different!
