Exploring Futurism Through Abstract Machines 🚀

Project Title: Abstract Machines Of Futurism Tutors: Chen Cheng Chen Students: Ping-Hsun Tsai Umberto Boccioni , almighty futuristic artist. His art works include paint and statue. I chose four different kind of art works of him become my idea of abstract machines. There is a lot of declarations talking about speed , time , march , slap and the external force of the environment in Futurism. In the Futurism you can barely find self-expression, because object can be saw only if it is already become one part of environment that is flowing all the time, just like finding center of swirl. So the classic static statue is ugly for them. It’s weird that statue can’t present the moment of surrounding. In my project, Umberto Boccioni’s work are transformed into flowing space that merge surrounding element such as, walking people and traveling train.
