After a magical Christmas and New Year spent in the UK with friends and family, it was time to return to our life under the Turkish sun! We flew back to Dalaman Airport from Stansted with Ryanair, and guess what? Our tickets were just £14.99 each—an absolute bargain! To top it off, we even brought my husband’s guitar onboard for the price of a seat ticket. Who knew budget flying could be so flexible?

Arriving back in Fethiye, we found our fridge practically empty after being away for weeks, so I headed straight to Migros to stock up on groceries. In this vlog, I’ll take you along as I shop, sharing what I bought and showing you the prices. Grocery shopping in Turkey is not just a chore; it’s an adventure, with so many fresh and affordable options to choose from. Later in the day, my husband suggested we take advantage of the gorgeous weather and go for a walk along Çalış Beach. The sun was shining, the waves were gently lapping the shore, and the whole atmosphere was just perfect. Çalış Beach is one of our favorite spots to unwind, and this time, we decided to treat ourselves to a meal at Nil Restaurant, right along the seafront.

I’ll show you the full menu with prices, so you can see just how affordable dining out in Turkey can be. From delicious appetizers to fresh seafood and local specialties, the food was incredible, and the view made it even better. Eating by the beach with the sound of the waves in the background is such a treat, and I couldn’t wait to share this experience with you.
