Guaidó Calls for Accountability for Maduro 🇻🇪

Juan Guaidó, the former opposition leader once recognized by the U.S. as Venezuela’s interim president, is speaking out for the first time since Nicolás Maduro’s arrest. In 2019, Venezuela’s National Assembly declared Guaidó the acting president, and President Trump publicly recognized him during the 2020 State of the Union. But in 2022, the opposition voted to remove Guaidó and dissolve his government. Guaidó joins NewsNation to discuss Maduro’s capture and what it means for Venezuela’s future.
