Ex-Grand Rapids Officer Testifies in Schurr Murder Trial

Former officer Christopher Schurr took the stand on Friday. Schurr went through his police training and recalled the moments leading up to him fatally shooting Patrick Loyola in the head. The officer stated that he only wanted to "arrest him." He believed that Loyola would have killed him if he did not fatally shoot him first.
