Europe’s Car Industry Rises Amid US-China Trade War Tensions 🚗

European car manufacturers have been saved from disaster after a last minute deal between China and the US over the export of computer chips.

It comes after the Netherlands took control of a Chinese owned, Dutch-based, chipmaker Nexperia after the U.S. raised security concerns.

Beijing halted exports of the company’s finished products, 80 per cent of which are processed in China, leading to warnings from auto firms that they were just days away from total shutdown.
