Europe is actually very small, and you can see that when we compare it to other countries.
We randomly chose New Guinea. It appears to be the size of Great Britain on the map, but if we put them alongside, it is actually 3 times bigger and almost long enough to stretch from London to Moscow.
India is another good example. It has a total length of 3,214 kilometers, which is similar to the distance between Palermo, Sicily, and Oslo, Norway.
Another good example is Indonesia. If we overlap it with Europe, we notice that it stretches beyond Europe's borders. 5,120 kilometers is the total length of Indonesia, being 200 kilometers more than the distance from Lisbon, Portugal, to Moscow, Russia.
