Crypto-currencies may have been banned, but if there's something good that's come out of it, as often said, is the Blockchain technology. Indian prime minister Narendra Modi recently hailed Blockchain’s transformative potential and emphasized the need for rapid adaptation. This is perhaps to do with Blockchains grand promise- that the technology will do for transparency, what the internet did for communication.
