ET blew the world away when it was released in 1982. The story of a young boys bond with an abandoned alien trying to find his way home. You would have to have a heart of stone to not get emotional as you watch Ellliot for a lifelong bond with ET and eventually help find his way back.
Steven Spielberg is masterful in his direction of yet another perfect film from the best director of his generation and possibly a couple others.
This is the perfect movie recommendation for a great family night in.
