Nach der Entscheidung für Wien als Host City des 70. Song Contests im kommenden Jahr wurden am Mittwochnachmittag weitere Details zur Jubiläumsausgabe des Großevents präsentiert. Beim Gesamtbudget hielt man sich aber bedeckt. Nur soviel: Dieses werde unter jenem der heurigen Ausgabe in Basel liegen, verkündete ORF-Generaldirektor Roland Weißmann am Mittwoch. Er beteuerte jedoch: "Wir sind sparsam, aber spektakulär. Das ist das Motto, das wir ausgegeben haben."
