Epstein Files latest: MPs vote to release Mandelson files on a dramatic day in parliament | ITV News

MPs have voted in favour of releasing documents relating to Peter Mandelson's appointment as US ambassador.

It comes after backlash from Labour MPs forced the government to climb down on a decision to block the release of sensitive files.

Now, any documents which are deemed a risk to national security or international relations will be referred to the Intelligence and Security Committee (ISC).

Starmer has faced pressure over the handling of the scandal from backbenchers, with one Labour MP telling ITV News the prime minister should "consider his position".
