About this video
In today's Daily Fix:
Forza Horizon 6 was accidentally made available much earlier than announced, when unencrypted Steam preload files were uploaded over the weekend. Steam games are uploaded to the service via encrypted files that customers can preload via preordering. Steam then unencrypts the files to make the game playable at the announced release date and time. But in Forza Horizon 6's case, the files went up unencrypted, which quickly made their way to piracy sites. Microsoft has since been plugging the leak by going after anyone trying to livestream the game ahead of release. In other news, Stellar Blade 2 will be self-published by developer ShiftUp, and they've left the door open for a multiplatform release. The first Stellar Blade is a PS5 exclusive, but the new deal could mean it will make its way to Switch 2 and Xbox. And finally, Nintendo has confirmed they still have unannounced games coming this year. This comes amid the company's falling stock value, even after announcing a Switch 2 price hike, reportedly at the behest of shareholders.
