Winter Weekend in the Bavarian Alps ❄️

A weekend in the Bavarian Alps this winter :)

I took the ICE from Leipzig to Munich, and used the Bavaria regional day ticket to travel by train to a few cute snowy spots. Did some hiking in the snow, met some nice people, ate some peanut butter and flew the drone.

And, of course, had some Glühwein in a Bavarian lodge.

Definitely recommend decent micro spikes if going in Jan/Feb like I did!
The way to make it so cheap to travel from Munich to anywhere is the Bavaria Pass with DB. Google "DB Bavaria Pass" - it's 26 eur/day for one person, and the price per person decreases with each additional person you travel with.
