EA Sports FC 26 is an upcoming football simulation video game developed by EA Vancouver and EA Romania and published by Electronic Arts. It is scheduled for worldwide release on 26 September 2025 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and Amazon Luna.[1] It is the third instalment in the EA Sports FC series following EA FC 24 and EA FC 25. Swedish footballer Zlatan Ibrahimović appears as the cover athlete of the Ultimate Edition,[2] while Jude Bellingham and Jamal Musiala to feature on alternate covers of the standard editions.[3] EA Sports FC 26 is set to introduce a significant gameplay innovations which include a complete overhaul of dribbling mechanics, enhanced artificial intelligence for player positioning, and more lifelike goalkeeper animations. The game also features two distinct gameplay presets: Competitive, tailored for Ultimate Team and Clubs with faster-paced action and smarter AI; and Authentic, designed for Career Mode with realistic football behaviours and tactics based on real-world data.[4]
The game will includes over 20,000 licensed players, more than 750 clubs and national teams, and 35+ leagues, including exclusive rights to UEFA competitions, CONMEBOL Libertadores, CONMEBOL Sudamericana, the Premier League, Bundesliga, LaLiga, Liga F, and Barclays Women's Super League.[5] New features such as an upgraded Archetypes system, dynamic Live Events, and expanded modes for Ultimate Team, Career, and Clubs will also be introduced.[6]

EA Sports FC 25 is a football video game published by Electronic Arts. It is the second instalment in the EA Sports FC series and the 32nd overall instalment of EA Sports' football simulation games. The game is being developed by EA Sports and is set to be released worldwide on 27 September 2024 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. Users who pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition of the game were able to play it on 20 September.

eFootball is a series of association football simulation video games developed and published by Konami. It has been completely rebranded from the original Pro Evolution Soccer (known as Winning Eleven in Japan) series.[1] The game's first year, entitled eFootball 2022, was released on 30 September 2021. It was later changed to the game's second year, eFootball 2023, on 25 August 2022, the game's third year, eFootball 2024 on 7 September 2023 and its simplified title eFootball for the game's fourth year (2025) on 12 September 2024. This game is part of the International Esports Federation's World Championship and North and Eastern Europa League (NEEC).

Development
On 21 July 2021, Konami released a six-minute video revealing the new game.[2] The announcement revealed that the Pro Evolution Soccer brand had been dropped.[3]

The game was released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on 30 September 2021.[4][2] It was built using Unreal Engine 4 for the first time in the franchise.[5]

On 8 October 2021, Konami announced that it would release a new update with fixes for the game's issues on 28 October 2021.[6] The update was delayed and the release postponed to November 2021.[7] Konami then launched the update 0.9.1 on 5 November,[8] and announced that the 1.0 update release was delayed until Spring 2022.[9] Version 1.0.0 of eFootball 2022 was finally announced on 6 April 2022, with release date on 14 April 2022.[10]
