Eche Ononukwe: Accusations & Divine Perspective

Consid’r what I see here on earth <br /> <br />with my God-giv’n bifocals, <br /> <br />eyeing those in black and those in green, <br /> <br />arm’d with weapons of warfare, <br /> <br />snatching away our rights, <br /> <br />and detaiing us in their maggots-infect’d cells. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />They refuse us a statement, <br /> <br />But investigations, they claim to have made, <br /> <br />and unbalanc’d, they accuse us by the plaintiffs’ statements, <br /> <br />forging accusations upon accusations against us, <br /> <br />refusing a bail to us, <br /> <br />and our own people, from seeing us: <br /> <br />food, they make us taste not <br /> <br />unless we oil their itching palms.<br /><br />Eche Ononukwe<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/accusations-upon-accusations/
